7 Drivers. One Team. Next Stop: Portugal.
Prime Powerteam is sending seven drivers to the 2026 RMC Grand Finals in Portugal!
We have been fortunate to help drivers qualify for the Grand Finals nearly every year, but having seven drivers earn tickets in a single season sets a new bar for our team.
A huge thank you to our engine partner, Aurum Racing Engines , for powering us throughout the season, and massive congratulations to our seven drivers who put in the work all year to earn the opportunity to represent their countries on the world stage.

JAMES ROOTS | MINI MAX
James Roots was the first Prime Powerteam driver to punch his ticket to Portugal in 2026, earning his spot by winning the RMC US Trophy in Texas.
Despite some very un-Texas-like winter weather, James was the class of the field, winning each of the first three races and clinching the championship before the final race even began.
Three races. Three wins. Championship secured.
A dominant start to our 2026 season and the first of seven Grand Finals tickets for Prime Powerteam.
YOUSEF ADI | MINI MAX
What a season for Yousef Adi.
Yousef earned his Grand Finals ticket by winning the RMC Ontario Championship in dominant fashion, winning each of the opening three rounds before finishing second at the Canadian Open and securing the championship by an incredible 200-point margin.
But he wasn't finished there.
Yousef went on to win the US Trophy Final and the RMC Quebec Championship, meaning he effectively qualified for the Grand Finals three separate times in 2026!
You can only take one ticket, but winning three championships and earning three different paths to Portugal is an incredible accomplishment.
Next stop: the RMC Grand Finals!
LINCOLN LIMA | MINI MAX
Lincoln Lima's Road to Portugal certainly wasn't the easiest.
An early-season injury sidelined Lincoln for several weeks, forcing him to miss the opening RMC Ontario event and putting him behind from the start. He returned to competition in Quebec while still recovering, but never gave up on his goal of earning a Grand F

The Canadian Karting Championship also served as the final round of the RMC Quebec Championship, with both Ryan Maxwell and Yousef Adi being crowned Series Champions after strong and consistent performances throughout the season.
Both had already secured their tickets to the RMC Grand Finals by winning the RMC Ontario Championship, so there may not have been quite as much fanfare on the podium, but this is an achievement that should not be overlooked.
Winning both the Ontario and Quebec championships in the same season is an impressive accomplishment. Congratulations to Ryan and Yousef — we can’t wait to see what they can accomplish on the world stage at the RMC Grand Finals!
Big thanks to our engine partner Aurum Racing Engines

It’s impossible to capture a race weekend in a single number.
The Canadian Karting Championship was a journey. Qualifying, Heats, Pre-Final and Final — each one tells a piece of the story.
The results don’t show the driver who was running at the front before getting taken out by a competitor. They don’t show the great result lost to a penalty, the comeback drive through the field, or the driver who showed incredible pace but just couldn’t catch a break all weekend.
At the end of the weekend, it’s usually one number that gets posted: the Final result.
We can’t capture every story in a single post, but we can show more of the journey.
So here it is — the full weekend for each of our drivers, from Qualifying through to the Final. Because sometimes the finishing position only tells a small part of the story.
There are plenty of great results here to celebrate, but more importantly, there is tremendous effort behind every one of them. Lessons were learned, experience was gained, and through the highs and the lows, we know we are all continuing to learn, improve and progress.
