An inaugural 5 km race in Hamilton, to support Interval House, a local organization helping women fleeing relationship violence/ abuse.

A great opportunity to raise some money for an excellent organization, while having a fun day out. On November 18th, 2006, the police knocked down the door to my house and pulled my ex-boyfriend off a barely conscious me. Had my neighbors not called, I would undeniably be dead.
