Treyten Lapcevich and Matt Young Victorious at Gold Rush at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario β€” Despite losing power steering around Lap 60, Treyten Lapcevich muscled his way through the second half of the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Models presented by Just Foam It Gold Rush 126 to pick up the checkered flag at Flamboro Speedway.
Lapcevich took The Car Guy green flag from the second row, keeping himself as part of the battle at the front of the field all night long. He escaped an incident ahead of him on the Lap 58 restart following the fuel break, and used the following restart to take the lead from Dustin Jackson. From there on, the driver of the No. 16 dominated in pacing the rest of the way en route to visiting Hoosier Racing Tire / Bicknell Race Products victory lane.
Jake Sheridan was the Shepherd Media Fastest Qualifier Award winner for the event, and looked to be in dominating form at the start of the event. However, contact with Glenn Styres on the previously mentioned restart would send him pit side to the attention of his pit crew. Starting on the pole, Matt Young led all 30 laps and held off a late-race charge from the competition to score the victory in the Pure Stock Gold Rush 30 at Flamboro Speedway on Tuesday, June 30.
