Join us in congratulating the Cleve's Source for Sports Impact Award winners for June 2026, Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance, Nick White, Brayden Orman and Bonnie Anderson.

⛵ In May, Antonia and Georgia came in fourth place at the 49erFX World Championships held in Quiberon, France, beating out 48 other boats.

🥎 Nick White was named Team Canada captain for the 2026 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-23 Men's Softball World Cup in Sincelejo, Colombia. He led Canada in hits and runs scored while batting .391 and hitting two home runs in eight games.

🤸‍♀️ The 2026 Eastern Canadian Championships for Gymnastics was held May 15-17, 2026, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and Brayden Orman had two athletes become Eastern Canadian event champions and had four other athletes each earn personal bests.

🚣 Bonnie Anderson has served as the volunteer Safety Officer for Halifax Rowing Club for several years. Every May Bonnie does stellar work to ensure the safety of the club’s rowers.
