Tuesday evening is Paddle Club where we Paddle Around certian parts of the Lower Prospect area. A great way to paddle with friends and meet new paddlers!

Kids Kayaking Club has started! Sign your kids up now! Every Wednesday 6-8pm this summer. Sign up for just a fews day, a month or the enitre summer:

A beautiful Saturday on the water 🌊☀️

Yesterday was one of those classic Nova Scotia summer days — calm seas, sunshine, wildlife, and great people coming together on the coast.

We started the day with a fantastic group from CGI Halifax who joined us for a team adventure here at ECO. It was the perfect day for a work group to escape the city, reconnect outside the office, and experience the incredible coastline right in our backyard. We had lots of first-time paddlers, families sharing the experience together, and some amazing seal sightings along the way!

After a little afternoon reset, we headed back out for our Saturday Evening Paddle & BBQ Special. A group of regular paddlers brought together friends and family for a beautiful evening on the water, followed by a backyard-style barbecue and potluck dinner overlooking Lower Prospect Harbour for Roxy Sheppard’s birthday! Good food, good stories, and that classic Nova Scotian feeling of everyone pitching in and enjoying time together. ❤️

This is what ECO is all about — getting outside, exploring our wild coastline, and creating experiences that bring people together.

We are offering two Paddle Canada Courses this summer. Why should you take a paddle course like this? Here is what a past particpant had to say:

I recently completed the Level 1 Sea Kayak Paddle Canada course with ECO and I couldn’t be more impressed. The instructor's deep knowledge and genuine passion for sea kayaking were evident throughout the course, and their instructional approach was both engaging and effective.
