With just two weeks to go until the 2026 Keji Multisport Festival Triathlon Nova Scotia is happy to announce the addition of a mixed team relay to the event!

Mixed team relays provide fast, exciting, and technical racing. Each team member completes a full super sprint triathlon before tagging their next teammate to complete the event.

🚨 Keji Triathlon Update 🚨

We are saddened to share that the 2025 Keji Triathlon has been cancelled due to the ongoing wildfires in our region. After a great deal of deliberation, the park determined that holding the event at this time could potentially place an unnecessary strain on vital emergency resources had our event needed to call 911.

Although this decision was out of our hands, we understand and fully support it in the interest of community safety and respect for our emergency services.

All registered participants will receive a refund, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work through this process.

We know how disappointing this is for everyone who trained, volunteered, and looked forward to this weekend. Please know that your health, safety, and our community’s well-being are our top priorities.

👉 While this year’s event cannot move forward, we are already planning for 2026 and will be working hard to make it our best Keji Triathlon yet. Stay tuned for updates — we can’t wait to welcome you back.

On Monday, May 19, 2025, the YMCA of Cumberland, along with a group of local community partners, hosted Cumberland County's 2nd Annual YMCA Kids of Steel Triathlon. For participants aged 3-15 years of age, the intent of the event is to provide children of Cumberland County and beyond the opportunity to participate in swimming, biking and running in a triathlon setting, cultivating a new love for the sport, with the hope of fostering the next generation of triathletes in the province.
