Ringette Nova Scotia

Nova Central is proud to be co-hosting the Gary Field Ringette Tournament, November 6–8, and we’re looking for someone from our family to join the tournament committee as our Game Scheduler.

The scheduler will help build and coordinate the tournament game schedule — an important behind-the-scenes role that helps keep the weekend organized and running smoothly for teams, athletes and families.

If you’re organized, comfortable working through schedules, and looking for a meaningful way to contribute, this is a great opportunity to help make the Gary Field Tournament a fantastic weekend for everyone involved.

📸University of Waterloo Ringette

Ringette Nova Scotia is excited to announce that the 2027 Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships will be hosted in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, from April 15-18, 2027!

This marks an exciting milestone for ringette, as it will be the first time the Championships are held in Sydney. Following the successful 2026 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship in Sydney and Membertou, the community is excited and well positioned to welcome athletes, families, coaches and officials while delivering strong economic and community benefits for Cape Breton.
Importantly, hosting the Championships in Sydney will help bring one of ringette’s premier events directly to athletes and families in Cape Breton, creating new opportunities to inspire local players, showcase the sport, and strengthen the growth of ringette in the region. 

We look forward to sharing additional, exciting details in early September. Stay tuned for our social media sites!

Halifax Hurricanes athletes, are you ready for action? On Monday, August 24th, join us at the Greenfoot Energy Centre, Bedford for our U10 & U12 Summer Send Off Scrimmages!

Please note that there are two packages available for each division on RAMP: Player and Goalie.

U10 | 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Our U10 scrimmage will be all about FUN and FLOW! Coaches will be on the ice helping players along, with fewer whistles, lots of touches with the ring, and as much continuous game action as we can pack into an hour!

U12 | 7:30 - 8:30 PM
Time to get back into game mode! Our U12 scrimmage will have officials on the ice and will be played with standard rules — a great chance to shake off the summer rust and get back up to game speed!

$25 per athlete

GOALIES: A maximum of 2 goalie spots per division are available and will be filled first come, first served!

Grab your skates, see some familiar faces, and send summer off the best way we know how - playing ringette!

Registration for U14AA evaluations closes Saturday, August 15th.

Evaluations are open to all eligible players, and you do not need to have been previously registered with BDRA to attend.

Players interested in playing U14B are not required to attend evaluations. However, all players interested in playing U14AA must register in advance and attend.
