Female athletes have always been an important part of our Outside Edge programs, training alongside our male athletes in both on-ice development, off-ice Strength and Conditioning, and Spring Hockey.

Now, we’re excited to expand what we offer.

Outside Edge is joining forces with Pyramid Hockey, known for its focus on developing girls in the game, to create new high-performance opportunities! We’re kicking this partnership off with a program designed specifically for U11, U13 and U15 players.

Our new Female Hockey High Performance Development Camp will be led by James LeBlanc, Troy Welsh and Tash Falk, bringing experienced coaching together for 10 focused, high-level development sessions throughout the season.

Our 2017/2018 High Performance Camp is designed for competitive players looking to challenge themselves with focused, high-tempo development.

These early-morning sessions are about putting in purposeful work - developing skating, skills, pace and confidence in an environment built for players who want to keep pushing their game forward.

Spring 2027 is underway. 🏒

Sunday's ID Camp marks an exciting step toward our 2027 Spring Hockey season - and the beginning of many opportunities for our athletes to develop with Outside Edge throughout the year.

Our Spring teams typically hit the ice at the end of March for 8 weeks of focused development (9 weeks for our 2014 Ottawa Sensplex Tournament Team), combining practices, exhibition games, tournament competition and team Strength & Conditioning.

While the Spring Season is an intensive 8 weeks, throughout the year, Outside Edge offers year-round on-ice development and Strength & Conditioning programs.

For us, it’s always about the same thing: helping players leave each season stronger, more confident and more prepared than when they started.

We’re back on the ice this week with our regular year-round development sessions, while our Summer Squad teams get in their final practices before tournament weekend.

Then it’s time to hit the road! 🚗

We’ll finish the week in Charlottetown, PEI, where our Summer Squad teams will compete in the Andrews 2-Line Summer Showdown!

Lots of hockey. Lots of development. And a great weekend of competition ahead.

We're changing things up this year! Our 2027 Spring Hockey ID Camp will take place before the school year begins.

Players will take part in on-ice hockey skills and skating development sessions while our coaching staff evaluates athletes for our 2027 Spring Hockey teams.

The Andrews 2-Line Showdown has become one of our favourite summer tournaments, and due to an unexpected opening, we have an immediate opportunity for a 2014/2015 forward and defenceman to join our Summer Squad.

If your player is looking for one more competitive tournament before the season begins, this is a fantastic opportunity to train with a great group of athletes, compete against strong teams, and head into the fall with confidence.
