Crazy

You call me crazy, but you never see,
It’s your reflection staring back at thee.
No talking sense, no owning wrong,
It’s the same tired dance, the same old song.

You twist the truth, you play the game,
But I won’t carry your endless blame.
I need out of this loop, I need my release,
Your chaos won’t steal my hard‑earned peace.

You call me names, act like I’m dirt on the floor,
I’ve seen this madness all before.
Your narcissistic ways, no accountability,
It will keep going till you heal within thee.

So label me crazy, if that’s what you choose,
But I refuse to sit around you and lose.

You’re on your own — maybe one day you’ll grow,
But until then, you’ll watch everyone go.
And only then will you finally see,
The one who is crazy was never me.

Vulnerability

I don’t want you to see me,
I hide my truth to keep my pride.
Suppressing all I feel inside,
a silent storm I run to hide.

I want to speak, my voice is near,
just say it, talk —
but fear of being vulnerable makes me walk.

For the mask I’m wearing it is thin,
it cracks beneath the weight within.
The truth will rise, it longs to win,
I want to tell you, let you in.

I won’t fall when words escape,
let love rebuild what fear has shaped.
For in the breaking, I am free,
to show the world the realest me.

Keep It and It Grows

You keep it in, you think it’s gone,
but silence only makes it strong.
The pain you hide, the tears you fight,
return again in the dead of night.

You wear a smile, you play the part,
but heaviness still fills your heart.
You push it down, you lock the door,
yet it comes back louder than before.

The truth is this: emotions stay,
they don’t just vanish when you look away.
Face them now, don’t let them win,
healing starts when you face within.

A memory of a Van Gogh exhibit I went to a few years ago popped up today. I started reading his quotes again, and I didn’t realize how much I relate to him. His quote, “I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it,” is what I do. And the more I read his stuff, the more I see myself in it, like every quote opens another realization.

And here’s something kinda crazy— he died on July 29th, 1890 and I was born July 29th, 1980.

The Creation of Reality

Whatever you want your life to be,
You are the creator of your reality.
Your mind will build your world as far as the eye can see—
But first you must believe
You are the creator of your own reality.

People speak of gloom and doom,
Not knowing they’re planting the seeds that bloom.
They only see what they expect to see,
Never realizing they’re creating their own reality.

The world reflects the vision you hold,
The reality that flashes back at thee.
As a child, you had no control—
Your parents’ fears pushed you into their role.
But once you are free,
You become the creator of your reality.

If you carry the thoughts of your parents and peers
Through all your days and all your years,
You’ll manifest their fears—
And they will become your reality.

Your thoughts are architects,
Your feelings are the blueprint,
Your actions are the bricks you lay.
Every belief you repeat becomes a road,
And every doubt becomes a delay.

Life mirrors the mind that moves it.
Remember that—
and never lose it.
