I just wanted to say thank you for all the messages, comments, and warm welcomes over the past week.

I've had a lot of fun meeting new teammates and hearing about the sports, leagues, communities, and events that matter most to you.

Whether you're a hockey player, soccer player, curler, ringette player, broomball enthusiast, softball slugger, or just someone looking to knock a little rust off, I'm happy to have you on the team.

One thing I've learned already: there are a lot of great people out there who share a love for sports, recreation, and community.

We never thought we'd be in this situation again this year 🤢

But we can still enjoy staying active.

And there's no better way to stay active in the winter in Canada than by skating. (always have an adult check the ice before you step on to make sure it's safe).
