This cottage is situated on Ross Lake which is a smaller lake about 2 kilometers due west of Haliburton Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. This is a motorless lake which results in the peace and quiet you have worked so hard to enjoy during your summer vacation. If you plan to bring your own motor boat, the boat launch on Haliburton Lake and Percy Lake is within 10 minutes of the cottage and there
is plenty of room to park your boat trailer at the cottage. The cottage sits back from the lake as you can see and there is a well maintained path and stairs to the lakefront from the cottage. As you exit the cottage, there is a large child safe deck with many chairs for your lounging enjoyment, a propane barbecue for the Executive Chef of the family. Watch the kids as they enjoy the albeit gradual rocky entry with soft bottom shoreline. In addition there is a dock where you will find your canoe, row boat and 2 kayaks. There is a large fire pit at the lake front and beside the cottage as well for those popular evening marshmallow roasts which the kids enjoy so much. The cottage is within 20 minutes of Eagle Lake Village where there is a good country store for supplies and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is another 15 minute drive from Eagle Lake where you will find large food stores, restaurants, service stations, hardwares, pharmacies, live entertainment and a hospital if health care is needed. ***Personal message this facebook to speak to owner
