SWEAT GAMES 2026; THE EVENTS ARE OUT.
You wanted to know what SWEAT GAMES 2026 was actually going to look like. Here it is.
Four events. Teams of two. A full day of competing, cheering, suffering a little, and finding out what you’re capable of.
This competition was built to be challenging without feeling like you need to be some elite-level athlete to belong here. If you train, you like doing hard things, and you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to compete, this is your chance.
Open and Scaled divisions are available, and athletes from Haliburton and beyond are welcome. No scaled sign ups yet! COOL!
Sunday, September 27 in Haliburton, Ontario.
The events shown may or may not be completed in this exact order. Final event order and scheduling will depend on the teams registered and will be determined closer to competition day.
Registration is still open, and we still have room for more teams. Swag bags and event shirts are also still available for upcoming registrations while quantities last.
Grab your partner and get registered.

CHOOSE YOUR TEAMMATE WISELY
Your teammate matters.
They are the person who keeps moving when you need five seconds, reminds you to breathe and forgives you when you completely lose the ability to count.
Choose wisely.
SWEAT Games takes place Sunday, September 27 at Glebe Park in Haliburton.
Teams may register as MM, MF or FF. Open and Scaled divisions are available.
Find your person, send them this post and register through the link in our bio. Both teammates must complete their own registration.

THE EVENTS HAVE NAMES.
Ryan Doll, crafty as ever, has named all four SWEAT Games events.
That’s all you get for now.
EVENT 1 — AXLE & SHIELD
EVENT 2 — WHAT’S HYROX?
EVENT 3 — NO ERGS? JUST ROW.
EVENT 4 — XFIT
Wrong answers only: tell us what you think each event is.
And if you’ve been meaning to register, now would be a good time. We still have room, and there’s still time to get in on competitor shirts and swag bags while quantities last.
Sunday, September 27.

BUILD FITNESS THAT GOES ANYWHERE
Coach John believes in being fit enough to try just about anything.
Run a 5K. Enter an obstacle course race. Try a fitness competition. Sign up for strongman. Learn Olympic lifting. Walk into a CrossFit competition without immediately questioning every decision that brought you there.
John is especially good at teaching barbell technique, breaking down Olympic lifts and helping newer athletes develop the strength, conditioning and confidence to explore different kinds of competition. Beginners are absolutely welcome. You do not need to know your niche yet, and you do not need to arrive already knowing what you are doing.
John keeps his online coaching roster small and only accepts clients when he believes the coaching relationship will be a good fit. If you are willing to learn, communicate and put in the work, send us a DM to start the conversation or email [email protected].
If John has ever coached you, leave a comment with something you learned from him, a challenge he helped you prepare for or a moment when his coaching made a difference. Let’s give the people considering this some real-life evidence.

OPEN OR SCALED?
The Open division is for athletes who are generally confident in the gym and prepared to be challenged by the prescribed movements and weights.
The Scaled division is available for athletes who need appropriate modifications or lighter loading. It is not restricted by age.
Scaled is there to make the competition accessible. It is not there to make the day comfortable.
Not sure where you belong? Speak with Chelsea or John before selecting your division.
Registration is open through the link in our bio. DM us if you need help choosing the right division.

Chelsea is currently planning her 2027 novice competitor roster through Obscura Coaching.
If you’ve been thinking about trying your first bodybuilding, Strongman, CrossFit, HYROX, powerlifting or other competition next year, now is a good time to start the conversation.
She plans well ahead because the goal is to actually prepare you properly, and whenever possible, be there on competition day too.
Interested? Send Obscura Coaching a message.

If you train consistently, enjoy being challenged and want to experience competition without pretending this is the Olympics, this was built for you.
