What an incredible weekend at Guelph Ribfest! 🎉

We always love being part of events that bring our community together while supporting local organizations and initiatives that make such a meaningful impact.

It was wonderful connecting with so many families, seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and sharing a little of what martial arts means to our GFMA community.

As part of this partnership, Guelph Family Martial Arts will be represented on multiple Crime Stoppers signs throughout the area, helping support the important work they do across our community.

🇨🇦🥋 Honoured to meet with Shadow Minister for Sport, MP Ned Kuruc!!

We had a fantastic conversation about the impact of sport across Canada, the dedication behind high-level competition, and the importance of creating opportunities for the next generation of athletes and the positive impacts of sport and a healthy active lifestyle.

It was also a great opportunity to share more about Guelph Family Martial Arts and our commitment to using martial arts as a vehicle to develop and instill valuable life skills — confidence, discipline, respect, perseverance, leadership, and resilience — that extend far beyond the martial arts studio. Martial arts is life changing!

A great visit with the Youth Wellness Hubs Wellington-Guelph! 💙

We really enjoyed learning more about the work being done to support youth across our community and discussing ways we can work together moving forward.

There’s a lot of alignment in what we’re both trying to accomplish—helping young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, stay active and feel connected to their community.
