The Baltimore Ravens have 3 costumed bird mascots named Edgar, Allan, and Poe. The trio made their appearance in 1998 after the team was named in honour of Poe's poem, "The Raven". After the 2008 season, Edgar and Allan were retired. They return when Poe suffered a knee injury during the 2022 preseason.
