Coming up in a few weeks is the CATCH THE FRY SALMON TOURNAMENT sponsored by Fishing World

Date: Saturday September 05, 2026 (Blow day Sunday September 06, 2026)

Location: Port Dalhousie Tournament Details 5:00 am - 6:15am Check in

6:30 am Blast off outside of pier head at Port Dalhousie 2:00 pm Teams must have coolers on the ramp dock or in the weigh-in line (Teams are DQ’d if late)

$200 per team
(Optional Big Fish $50)

SLA retains 20%, after that it pays: 1st 50% 2nd 30% 3rd 20%
4th - 10th Prize Packs Sponsored by Fishing World
Big fish Winner receives a Scotty 1116 Electric Downrigger

50 boat cap

Entry Fee ($200) payable by E-transfer ONLY to [email protected] up to Thursday September 03, 6:00 pm.

In your E-transfer message MUST include the following info:
1) Event Name 2) Team name 3) Captain’s name 4) Captain’s email address and 5) Captain’s cell phone number Tournament

Rules
The morning of the tournament all tournament captains must first check in at the ramp.

Check in from 5:00 am to 6:15 am and submit the completed and signed Tournament Waiver Form prior to the start of the tournament.

All coolers and live wells will need to be checked prior to leaving the dock.
● Ont & NY waters open
● Open communication
● Dry coolers at weigh-in, no loose ice or water in coolers
● Max 3 salmon (Chinook or Coho) in cooler at weigh-in or it will result in disqualification
● 6 Lines max per boat

Return 2:00 pm. Teams must have coolers on the ramp dock or in the weigh-in line
(Teams are disqualified if late)

Big Fish: A black zip tie will be provided to tag your big fish and must be attached to the fish to weigh-in.

Winners will receive their cash prizes via E-transfers the following week

Novelty cheques remain the property of the SLA club, however they are available for purchase, price TBD Should the tournament be canceled for any reason refunds will be issued via E-transfer as soon as possible.
