Valley Wrestling Club

We won Nova Scotia Community Sport Organization of the year!! Great job everyone!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to our end of season celebration! We had a great wrestling season with lots of new and old faces!

We’re missing a handful of wrestlers in our photo sadly, but our wrestling club grew by about 25% this season which is pretty impressive!

We’re proud of all our wrestlers and how much effort they put in. Wrestling isn’t an easy sport, the new generation is full of hard workers which is great to see!

We would love to try to attend a few parades and maybe the odd set up, we will keep the page updated on details if people would be interested? Maybe even a beach wrestling day would be fun!

Otherwise, we hope to see everyone again in the fall!!

If anyone has any allergies or doesn’t like pizza or garlic fingers please let us know and we get add something else too.

Im going to touch base and see If I can get the photographer we usually have each year to come and do photos but we might be a bit late notice sadly.

As most know, our club doesnt charge money to participate so all the money for the event Is coming out of our pockets. If any parents are willing and able to donate or pick up snacks/drinks ect. Please let us know

Our girls only wrestling introduction practice was a hit! We had a great turn out! We hope everyone had a good time.

We’re proud of all the girls who made it out to practice, everyone did so well!

It’s become clear that the valley might have a need for a “girls only” wrestling practice.

We would love to add a few women wrestlers to our coaching staff, if you’ve wrestled in school and you’re interesting in helping out with our club please get in touch!

We will likely do a few more girls only classes to gauge numbers!
