We are still pumped about the Novice Tournament, and we know this was possible thanks to the support of the community. Our BBQ and Car Wash Fundraising event was crucial to making this tournament participation a reality for our athletes. 🌭🍔

Top Glove Boxing Academy Attended the 2026 Novice Tournament! 🥊

We put all our hearts and sweat into the ring! The 2026 Ontario Novice Tournament was hosted by Boxing Ontario on August 21–23, 2026, in London, ON, Canada. The opportunity to meet, spar, and compete with future generations of Olympian Boxers allowed us to achieve more motivation, experience, and commitment to continue aiming for the Top. 🔥

It is with heavy hearts that the Top Glove Boxing Academy family says goodbye to a dear friend, Tapio Paajanen.

While many in Sudbury knew him as a respected community member who served with the Greater Sudbury Police Service for many years, we knew him as a man of great strength and wit, a passionate supporter and member of our Rock Steady Boxing program who led by example.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, his family, and all who were touched by his kindness and bravery. We will miss his smile and his spirit at the ringside.

Rest in peace, Tapio. You will be missed but never forgotten.
