Gravel Monday is on tonight!

We’re rolling from the shop at 6:30pm for our usual drop bar gravel ride.

Starting Line is also on tonight! Kids can get their ride in while the parents head out for some gravel. Pretty solid way to spend a Monday night.

Weather looks like it should cooperate. If it starts to turn, check back here for an update, but for now assume we’re good to go!

THE STARTING LINE

High school MTB racing is coming up, and we want to help get the next crew of young riders ready for it.

Starting this Monday, August 17, Cycle North is running a weekly youth MTB race training camp for riders ages 14–17.

We’ll work on bike skills, fitness, race strategy and confidence, while getting riders ready for the upcoming high school MTB race season.

This Monday is FREE. Come out, ride with the group, meet the coaches and try the program before signing up for the season.

John Lalonde, proprietor of Sessions Ride Company on Lasalle Boulevard, is seeking the community's assistance after a $3,000 e-bike was stolen earlier this week. An 16-year-old employee was attacked during the theft, when the thief swung a knife at him.

Lalonde is offering a reward of $500 for the recovery of the bike, or $1,000 if the thief is also turned into the Greater Sudbury Police Service.

is on the rise in and across Canada. The GSPS has some advice on how to protect your ride; however, nothing is foolproof these days. Even when indoors, the service is recommending cyclists lock up their bikes.

We had an EBGO E Fat Bike stolen from the shop today.

Not only was the bike stolen, but this guy swung a weapon at a staff member here in efforts to steal it. Real piece of work, this guy.
