🐴 South Peace Horse Trials — 2026 Event Cancellation 🐴

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 South Peace Horse Trials, scheduled for September 5 & 6, due to low entry numbers.

We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to enter, as well as those who reached out, shared our posts, and helped spread the word.

We understand that many factors go into deciding whether to attend a horse trials, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this cancellation may cause.

Entry Fee Refunds
For those who have already submitted payment for their horse trials entry fees, refunds will be sent out Sunday, August 30.

Horse Trials Prep Clinic — September 1–3
We are still moving forward with our Horse Trials Prep Clinic, September 1–3, as planned.

If you are registered for the clinic and the cancellation of the horse trials has changed your plans and you are no longer able to attend the clinic, please email [email protected] and let us know, so we can add you to the list for refunds.

Another reminder to get your entries in!! We would love to see this event go ahead but we need a few more entries!

Also for anyone who is available to help out at our work bee tomorrow (August 29) we will be starting at 11:40 am. Many hands make light work so come on out!

South Peace Horse Trials — We Need You!

We need your help to keep the South Peace Horse Trials happening on September 5 & 6!

At the moment, we are extremely low on entries, with only 15 horses entered. We need to reach a minimum of 50 horses for the event to be viable — otherwise, sadly, we will have no choice but to cancel.

We know September is a busy time of year, but if you’ve been thinking about entering, now is the time! Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or looking for one more opportunity to get out and enjoy a weekend with your horse, we would absolutely love to have you join us.

Water Jump Work Bee
*Weather permitting*

Bring your shovels and rakes! We’ll be cleaning out the footing in the water jump and removing the silt that has built up before we refill it for members to use.

🌿 Saturday, August 29

Horse Trials Prep Work Bee

We’re looking for members and volunteers to help with:

- 🌱 Mowing & w**d eating the grounds
*If you have a mower or w**d whipper you’re able to bring, that would be a huge help!
- 🎨 Painting fences

💰 Club Volunteer Credits

Club credits are available to those who volunteer for a full or half day:

- $100 Club Credit — 4 hours (Full Day)
- $50 Club Credit — 2 hours (Half Day)

Many hands make light work!
