What a great week; so many bears, and a great crew of hunters once again. Three bears over 320 # one at 425 #, and green scored 20 13/16". Even a young 12yr old lad that proved his ability with his first bear: and with a crossbow! The largest chocolate bear of the season was 390 # on the scale.
So great to have my youngest brother Conrad help us out in guiding as well. God is so good!
Thanks for all your efforts guys: this was a fantastic season in hunting bears in Manitoba.

Week one was a rewarding time with three of four color phase bears, super short blood trails, and good times abounding! Thanks to our Michigan/Georgian crew for yet another great hunting experience to share our camp with! Herschel be sure to show us the completed mount with the chevron yielding bear with the welcome tray of beverages once done!

Well we are all dealing with an excellent winter. Hope you all had a great Christmas break and holiday time.
