🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING THE REGATTA ATV RIDE 🚨

Our planned ATV ride on Route 431 through Gros Morne National Park cannot move forward as originally promoted but will continue (Rain or shine!) with a few changes. Please read!

Parks Canada has emailed the Towns to state that this protest ride is strictly prohibited. The RCMP and Fire and Emergency Services have also been contacted and our Fire Department have been told they cannot participate to provide traffic control. Because safety is our top priority, the Events Committee on behalf of the Towns can no longer promote the ride from Mckenzies Brook Road.

We will continue our ATV parade from the Glenburnie highways depot with the Fire Truck in the lead through the community to the Woody Point town hall for music, cake and snacks.

Your voice matters. Resident voices are incredibly important, and we must be heard on this critical issue. Residents who still wish to ride from Mckenzies Brook Road can do so at their own discretion and at their own risk. This is your choice and your opportunity to join others who want to protest and stand up for change.

As a Town, we will continue to advocate for a safe ATV corridor for access to Mckenzies Brook Road.
