This route is guaranteed to be type ✌🏻 fun with some crushing climbs, beautiful flats to stretch those legs out and so much loam in between. If you don’t know what loam is, you definitely will after this adventure 👌🏻.

From the beginning, we have set out to provide meaningful, fun and fresh trail running events here on the Sunshine Coast of BC. Our main goals through our events have been to leave the trails better than we received them, respect and give back to our community as much as we can, and share what we feel is a pretty darn special and incredible piece of beautiful British Columbia.

Coaster Co-RD & owner of Sunny Running Co., Jeanelle Hazlett has teamed up with Jordan Brett of Steel & Oak Brewing Co. & Beer Run Race series to bring you Sunshine Coast’s newest trail race. We are so stoked to present to you Up the Creek 50k & 25k!

Come explore our beautiful coastal backyard from Langdale all the way into the loamy, magical trails of Roberts creek and back.

Join us, October 3rd, 2026 for our inaugural event, fun and challenging routes with all the best vibes. We hope to see you there! Reg launches this Wednesday, July 22nd at 8am… don’t hit snooze on this one.

Sunny Running Co. was created to be a space for running to be celebrated every day. From geeking out over shoes and nutrition, to being there for those starting out on their running adventure. It’s a space for those who celebrate movement and the outdoors. It’s a home for all runners.

These images span from the Coastal Mountains of BC to the French Alps and beyond, from the front of the race, to the mid and back of the pack. From the biggest races in the world, to the long hikes in her backyard.
