A new name on the Lanark Bell. Hudson Turcotte claimed his first ever Men’s Club Championship with a wire-to-wire win on Sunday

He jumped out to an early lead in round 1 and held on through a tight back nine battle with Jayson Ross, sinking the winning putt on #15 to close it out (see slide 5).

Make it 11. On Sunday, Sheila McKeen took home her 11th career Ladies’ Club Championship. She closed out the win by shooting 2-under on the back nine, completing a final round comeback.

A quick look back at last week’s historic announcement at the Club.

On May 25, we proudly announced that we will host the 2027 CPKC Women’s Open. The press conference brought together Laurence Applebaum, CEO of Golf Canada, Maude Marquis-Bissonnette, Mayor of Gatineau, representatives from Ottawa Tourism, members of the media, and more.

The announcement marked the start of an exciting new chapter for our Club, and we look forward to welcoming the best players in the world to The Royal in 2027.

Another successful batch of in-house maple syrup, tapped straight from the trees on our course 🍁

Each frosted bottle is filled, hand-dipped in wax, and finished with a label featuring an original painting by Mr. Bob Fletcher (1921–2003), a longtime Member of the Club.
