What a weekend in Costa Rica for Laila Ismail, Kaeden Ryan, Oliver Bavis and William Smith at the 2026 PKF Junior Pan American Championships.

Taking the tatami at this level, representing Canada and competing alongside some of the best young karate athletes in the world is an experience to be proud of.

Thank you as well to Youssef Ismail and Randy Rix for being there to coach and support our New Brunswick athletes throughout the championships.

This concludes our 2026 KNB Karate Camp finishing our day at Meenan's Cove. We hope all the participants enjoyed this year's event including new skills, new friendships and lasting memories.

Day 1 of the KNB Karate Camp 2026 has successfully concluded, featuring a comprehensive agenda of engaging games, team-building exercises, and rigorous training sessions in both Kumite and Kata. Notably, participants from multiple provinces, including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec, were in attendance.
