🇨🇦 The People's Choice Award Returns for Canada Day! 🇨🇦
One of the most popular traditions of the Downtown Newcastle Canada Day Parade is back again this year; the People's Choice Award!!

Parade-goers will once again have the opportunity to vote for their favourite parade entry and help crown this year's People's Choice winner.

During the parade, volunteers will be handing out QR codes to spectators, making it easy to cast your vote right from your phone. The online voting link will also be posted right here on Facebook at 1:00 p.m.

🗳️ Voting will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. only.

Once the votes are counted, we'll announce the People's Choice Award winner on our social media by 5:00 p.m.

Get ready to cheer on your favourite float, community group, business, or organization; all in good Canadian spirit! 🇨🇦
