We are a branch of the NB-PEI Region of the Canadian Pony Club - we teach children about horses and their care, safety, handling, and more!
The Fredericton Pony Club has a long-standing history in Fredericton - it was re-opened in 2005 after being inactive for 3 years. We offer stable management instruction and horse-related activities to young people aged 6-25 years old. We meet regularly and our members are becoming very capable, educated horse people. You don't need to own a horse or even be taking riding lessons to be a member of FPC - all you need is a love of horses!

We take advantage of the warm summer weather to do lots of hands-on learning:)
Our younger members learned how to bathe a pony (Maisy looks amazing!) and our older members learned how to measure a horse!

Pony Club is never boring! Today, we worked on the Parts of the Bridle badge and then our younger members helped out (as Pony Clubbers always do) to move some hay - they’re small but mighty!

Today was a very rainy day! Our younger members got an introduction to our badge program, and our older members got the opportunity to work on their turnout skills by trimming legs, tails and bridle paths - they seem like simple things but it’s definitely a “practice makes perfect “ situation:)
