Saturday January 10 - FSNSC’s annual club potluck and moonlight ski - 5:45-8:30 – Our annual club potluck returns again this season! Please come on out and enjoy a social with other club members and celebrate the great weather. Open to all club members and club member guests. As the weather is looking to be fantastic we plan to have an outdoor fire going (and marshmallows for the kids if I remember to bring them) and glow sticks for participants to maybe head out after dinner on skis.
Hey Club Members,
A quick note to say that tomorrow, Sunday January 4,2026 we will have the upstairs chalet open for the first time this year for everyone from 1-3pm! Please stop in and say hello. Hot drinks and water will be available. The chalet will be open most Sundays so if you can’t make it tomorrow please stop by another Sunday.
Tomorrow is also the first day of youth ski lessons. For those involved with youth ski lessons you should have received an email. If you haven’t, please reach out to me.
While I’m at it, I wanted to give a special shout out to the Snow Grooming Team. I’m sure we’re all tired of shovelling snow, and for every dump of snow we get, the trails need to be packed, groomed, and track set, a time consuming process. The team has probably put in all of last year’s season grooming hours up to this point this year. This is an immense amount of work. If you see a groomer, tip your hat to them and offer them a simple Thanks. We appreciate their efforts so much!
Lastly, I will send out a calendar of events early in the next week. We have a board meeting Sunday night and will confirm our winter events at that time. I’m looking forward to a busy year…
Happy New Year, everyone!
