People hear “home gym” and picture a cramped basement room with insulation exposed walls. I set out to create the complete opposite.

The Fort Sask Fitness studio has 9-foot ceilings, room to move, and a 3/4” rubber floor that doubles as one giant lifting platform. It’s clean, it’s crisp, and it’s fully equipped — dumbbells, cables, cage, adjustable benches, cardio, kettlebells, the works and so much more.

Whether is weight lifting, circuit training, stretching or Pilates, there’s space for it here. A safe space for women to focus on themselves, meet new friends and get in a great workout. Come check it out. 💪

Join “Fort Sask Fitness Group Classes” on Facebook to book your first class! July schedule will be available tomorrow evening!

Happy and sad for today being my last day of training….for now! We’ve successfully made it to 37 weeks pregnant and now it is time to relax for a moment before the next member of our family joins us. I will be temporarily closed and will return with classes starting 6-8ish weeks after birth. One on one training starts will be announced at a later date. Thank you all for crushing 2025 with me. To all my lovely clients - no slacking while I’m out, because like Santa, I’m always watching 😘

Throwback to a favorite of mine. L was a very long time client and friend of mine. I remember her consultation like it was yesterday. I specialize in weight loss, but I will take on a few other departments here and there, and I’m so happy she was one of them. At her consult I told her in no way, shape or form would her transformation be easy. It’s nothing like weight loss in the sense that you get to look at the scale each week and see progress, especially when you are a very hard gainer like she was. It would take a frustrating amount of time to see gains but she committed and trusted the process. In fact, she weighed 2lbs MORE than her before photo here, BUT her body composition (fat:muscle) had changed so much. She lost 5 inches in her waist, leaned out, and look at that flex! When she started, her posture was terrible, and she couldn’t Squat more than 20 pounds. Now she stands tall, strong and confident AND can Squat 185lbs (waaaay more then her body weight) while being 5’9”.

E is a perfect example of body composition changes. Weighing 8lbs and 8 inches less, her ratio of muscle to fat has made significant progress! A less fat and more muscle in allll the right places. At first we focused our efforts on increasing muscle and cardio endurance for a triathlon, then shifted our focus to heavy lifting for building muscle mass and posture. The lesson to be learnt from E is that the scale shouldn’t be the key focus of your progress, monitoring your measurements, appearance and lift increases are huge factors!
