A mindset shift is not: “I should already be better at this.”
It's not: “Why am I like this?”
Nor is it: “That's just how I am.”
It's .... “I'm willing to work on that.”
You don't need to have everything figured out before you start. You just need to be willing to look honestly at what's not working & do something about it.
That's where change starts.

Not every woman is a fit for the Bold & Badass Project
& that's a good thing.
I'm not looking for women who are already perfectly disciplined, incredibly confident, never emotional, or somehow have their s**t completely together.
If you were, you wouldn't need me. 😂
I'm looking for women who are willing.
> to be uncomfortable.
> to be coached.
> to get curious about their patterns instead of constantly blaming circumstances.
> to take responsibility without beating themselves up.
> to stop looking for the next perfect plan & learn how to make this work in their real life.
You don't need to walk into the Bold & Badass Project already knowing how to do all of that.
That's what we're here to build but you do need to be willing to participate in the process because ....
I can give you the training plan.
I can give you the nutrition targets.
I can teach you the skills.
I can coach you through the messy weeks.
I can't do the becoming for you.
That's your part.
If you're ready to stop starting over, build some serious self-trust & learn how to sustain the results you work for, DM me BOLD, or fill out the application in my bio & let's chat about whether this is the right fit for you.
10/15 spots are still open for the September cohort starting Sept 14.

August, you were good to me. 💜
A little running.
Regular lifting.
Summer days.
Outfits I felt good in.Kevin being Kevin & me being me. 😂
Some work.
Some play.
A whole lot of choosing the life I’m living instead of waiting for some future version of it.
Faith over fear held a lot of me together this month.
So that’s what I want to take with me: I don’t know what’s coming next. I don’t need to. I can keep moving toward what feels right, trust myself to figure things out as I go, & let life unfold without needing to control every detail.
Everyone wants to start talking about fall... Nope. 😂
I love fall 🍁 . I really do but I ADORE summer & I’m not ready to let her go just yet.
So I’m going to soak up every last bit of the warmth & sunshine while it’s still here. ☀️

Some goals are worth taking your time with.
We're so used to being sold the idea that if something doesn't happen quickly, it's not working.
Six weeks.
30 days.
21 days.
Before-and-after by summer.
What if you stopped measuring success by how quickly you can get there…
and started measuring it by whether you can stay there?
I'd rather you take longer to build something you can actually keep than spend years bouncing between extremes because you're always trying to get there faster.
Slow doesn't mean you're failing. Sometimes slow means you're finally doing it differently.
You are allowed to take your time becoming her.

This is what I wish more women understood about fat loss.
The weight loss might be the thing that gets you started but it is rarely the thing that keeps you going.
Somewhere along the way, something else starts to happen.
>You keep promises to yourself.
>You do hard things when you don't feel like it.
>You learn to navigate the weekends without throwing the whole week away.
>You stop needing motivation to show up.
>You get strong AF.
>You learn how to fuel your body instead of constantly fighting it.
>You start trusting yourself.
>You do things you never thought you were capable of doing.
And eventually, you look around & realize… you don't actually want to go back to who you were before.
That's what I see in these women & so many of my clients.
These are not 6 perfect transformations.
These are 6 women who are continuing to become.
Lynn has been with me 9 years & is still raising her standards.
Tracy has learned that more isn't always better & that strength, running & adequate fuel can co-exist.
Rhonda is getting strong AF in a season when women are often told to expect the opposite.
Tara no longer needs to track everything or live in all-or-nothing mode. She lives the lifestyle.
Tab has built the kind of self-awareness that actually turns into action.
And Carla is doing things she never would've done before because her confidence & self-trust have changed what she believes is possible for her.
That's the part you can't capture in a before & after photo.
Fat loss can be a byproduct of the woman you become when you:
>start doing harder things
>stop abandoning yourself
>keep your word
>invest in yourself
>learn instead of giving up
>get strong.
>stop needing everything to be perfect before you show up.
The goal was never just to make you smaller. It's to build a woman who trusts herself enough to keep going.
And that is one of many reasons, my clients stay. 💜

If fat loss was my goal, I wouldn't be searching for another diet, detox, fat burner or complicated meal plan.
I'd be looking at the boring stuff that actually works.
I'd be asking myself:
> Am I eating in a calorie deficit consistently enough?
> Am I getting enough protein & fibre?
> Am I eating consistent meals or snacking my way through the day?
> Am I moving my body regularly?
> Am I prioritizing my sleep?
> Am I planning ahead for the situations where I usually fall apart?
> Am I making things more complicated than they need to be?
> Am I eating out more than I eat at home?
> Am I restricting too much?
> Am I not paying enough attention to what goes on between my ears?
Fat loss is simple ... but that doesn't mean it's easy.
You still have to make choices that support the outcome you want, and sometimes that means choosing the thing that serves your goal over the thing that's easiest or most convenient in the moment.
But I don't want you to read that and think “I have to sacrifice my entire life to lose weight.”
You don't.
You need to figure out which behaviours actually move the needle for you and become consistent with those.
Not perfection, extremes or constantly starting over. Just repeatedly making decisions that support the goal you're working toward.
If fat loss is your goal right now, what's the one thing you know you need to get more consistent with?

Things you say that make trainers & coaches want to bang their head against a wall 🤦♀️
1. “I just need more motivation & willpower.”
Meanwhile, you've been waiting for motivation to magically appear for the last 14 years.
2. “I know what to do. I just don’t do it.”
3. “I’m going to wait until I lose the weight before I start strength training.”
Girl … that’s like saying you're going to learn to swim after you’re no longer afraid of water.
4. “I barely eat but I can’t lose weight.”
5. “I eat so healthy but nothing is changing.”
6. “I don’t want to get bulky.”
You are dramatically overestimating how easy it is to accidentally become bulky.
7. “I have no idea how much food/drink I consume & I haven’t worked out since 1998, but it must be my hormones.”
8. “I need change. I need to do something for myself. I need to start living my life… but coaching is too expensive.”
9. “I don’t have time for that.”
Also you: spends 45 minutes reading every comment on a completely unhinged Facebook thread.
10. “What supplements should I be taking?”
11. “My sleep is terrible. I’m always exhausted.”
Also you: scrolling your phone until 11pm.
You can't blame the variable you haven't even investigated while ignoring the behaviours you already know aren't where they need to be. 🤦♀️ 🤔
