🌧️ Rain Delay! ⚾

After two huge wins, our 11U AA Blue Oil Giants are headed to the Provincial Semi-Finals! Today’s game has been postponed due to rain and will now be played tomorrow, with game times TBD.

The extra day means our boys will be rested, ready, and looking to knock it out of the park! Let’s go, Giants! 💙🧡

⚾️💙 Today's game showed the depth of this amazing team. Everyone contributed in a big way to pull off our second win of the round robin and securing our position in first place in pool B!

Today's provincial game MVP went to Lando for his stellar performance on the mound (which was is first outing of the season) and for his consistent grit at bat. Putting the ball in play every time he stepped up the the plate.

Baller of the game goes to Gabe the Babe for continuing to deliver crushing hit after crushing hit and for shutting the door on the Dodgers on his mound appearance.

Grinder of the game goes to NoMak (Noah) for his perseverance at the plate and for his exceptional outing on the mound.

These three put on a clinic and set us up for a full team of available pitchers going into the semi-finals tomorrow. The train is gaining momentum and we are ready for tomorrow.

⚾️ PROVINCIALS GAME 1 ⚾️

What a way to start Provincials! The 11U AA Blue Oil Giants defeated the Sherwood Park Athletics 20-13!

The boys came out ready to compete, putting together quality at-bats, making big defensive plays, and battling from the first pitch to the last. A great team win to kick off the weekend!

⭐ Baller of the Game: “Big Dumper” (Isaac)
For his excellent game on both sides of the ball. Isaac pitched 2.5 strong innings and was a force at the plate all game long!

💪 Grinder of the Game: Kadester (Kade)
For his great work at the plate, cranking hit after hit and driving in multiple RBIs. On defense, Kade played smart ball at first base and made sure we got the outs we needed.

One down. Back at it tomorrow at 9:00 AM! 💙🧡⚾️

⚾️ 11U AA Blue is Provincial Bound! ⚾️

Months of hard work. Countless practices. Hours of dedication from our coaches. Endless effort from our players. Every pitch, every drill, and every game has led to this weekend.

Our Fort McMurray Oil Giants 11U AA Blue are heading to St. Albert to compete in the 2026 Baseball Alberta Provincial Championships, and we couldn't be more proud of this group.

What a win!!! ⚾️🏆. Today the team met in the morning, set a plan and executed it to perfection. This team showed up dialed in and ready to play! ⚾️

Baller of the game went to T-Roy for a stellar outing on the mound with a dominant 3 and 2/3 innings and crushing hit after crushing hit. All game long, Troy was on fire!

Grinder of the game goes to Kadester for a phenomenal outing at first base getting out after out and scooping throws to save plates all game long. At bat, Kade had a multi hit game and crushed a ball to the fence that was inches from being a home run, driving in key RBIs for the team.

So many honourable mentions today as it was a nearly perfect outing for the squad. Way to go Blue! 💙⚾️

For the second weekend in a row, our 11U AA Blue Oil Giants are heading out—this time to Red Deer for their final tournament before Provincials!

Wishing the boys the best of luck as they continue to build momentum, compete every inning, and enjoy another great weekend on the diamond. Safe travels, play hard, and have fun!
