Happy Medal Monday. We had a great time at the Concord Dragonboat Festival this weekend. We placed Bronze in the Grande Finale. Coach likely said we had an acceptable performance.

Coach Ben is off on vacation and was getting race videos from our support crew and sending feedback to our captain but the Chinese Dragon had other ideas.

It’s a great day for a Regatta!

We joined up with OC6 team Holo Nui to get our annual Huli Drills done today. Thanks to Joanne for organizing the event and to the FLCC Huli Training Team that came out to talk us through a huli recovery, assessed our ability to respond calmly if we ever unintentionally huli and ensured we were safe.
