We will not be accepting Day Drop-in's the week of August 17th-21st as we are limited to Councilors for the week. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Hope you have a great rest of your summer!

We want to keep our community informed that due to staff shortages caused by illness, today’s public swim will have a reduced capacity of 30 participants, and the leisure pool will be closed.

We know changes like this can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while our team works through the shortage. ❤️

🏊‍♀️ Interested in becoming a lifeguard? We’d love to hear from you! If you’ve ever considered becoming a lifeguard or are curious about what it takes to get certified, please reach out to the Hudbay Aquatic Centre. We’d be happy to provide information about training and certification opportunities.

Our aquatic centre depends on the amazing lifeguards who keep our pool safe and open for the community. Maybe you could be one of them! 💙

Please remember:

* A life jacket is required for all participants.
* Pack a swimsuit and towel each beach day.
* We also recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle to help everyone stay safe and comfortable.
