Horse Trekking Adventures would like to announce that we will be closing our operation.
We would like to say thank you to all the people who have come out and enjoyed their time with us. We have really enjoyed having the opportunity to share with you some of the experiences that represent the lifestyle we are fortunate to live. We've come to the realization it is time for us to move on.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the people who have helped us out over the many years we have been in business, Harvey & Laureen Kosheiff.

Winter feeding. The horses were pretty feisty just before the snow started. I always like the quiet & beauty of winter feeding time, once the snow starts falling, and the horses settle in to eating.

August 28, 22 AM - Darcy & Laura came from Goodfare area to enjoy a break and spend some time outdoors on horseback. It was a good day for it. They even tried their hand at throwing the lasso! Thanks for coming out!

August 26, 2022 - Keddie Reunion Ride - We went mobile for this adventure! Out west of Fairview, AB. to the banks of the Hines Creek Coulee. We rode along the top of the banks to old familiar stomping grounds for some family members. Funny how the memories came flooding back as we rode along. The views of the coulee, the chatter & laughter from all the riders was heart-warming. It was good to see some familiar faces, as well as meet some new people. We were very glad to be able to make it to the Keddie family reunion and share this experience with everyone that participated, thanks Shelley Irvine for booking with us!

August 18 - 23, 2022 - Pack Trip into Seep Creek.
We are meeting friends, Bill and Pat out at camp on Seep Creek for this trip. Jessica, our summer student was able to come along, she is pretty pumped. This is her first time going on a horse pack mountain camping adventure. Bill and Pat arrived the day before us, brought the wall tent, camp stove, and got that all set up. We are bringing the food and most of the kitchen supplies in with us. We are looking forward to being out in the wilderness for a few days! It is a shorter trip this time out, so we are happy to get out here!

August 16, 22 - Some local guests from the Fairview area came for a morning ride. There were signs of wildlife and we noticed some wild edibles along the forest trails, everyone enjoyed learning to throw the lasso. It was a nice morning for a ride, thanks for coming out everyone!

August 15, 2022 - This group of five riders came from Falher area for a picnic lunch ride. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a good ride!

Full moon rising in the east, with a few of the geldings out grazing. Looking back to the west, the sun has just set.

August 14, 2022 PM - Karissa & Sebastian came for a late afternoon picnic lunch ride. It had rained overnight, and the sky is still pretty threatening, so we put on the raincoats just to be safe. The rain did hold off until we almost made it back to the staging area.It came down lightly until we got all the tack and horses put away, then it let loose. It turned out to be quite an enjoyable ride .

August 14, 2022 AM - Karianna & Lyric came from Hythe area to join us for a morning ride. We conquered some trail challenges and gained some confidence today. It was a fun ride!
