Introducing a striking 3-year-old grey Draft Cross Warmblood gelding with impressive presence, substantial size, and an exceptionally kind, uncomplicated disposition.

Currently standing 16.2 HH and still growing, this handsome young gelding is sired by Rios Blueprint and out of Rio Grande. He combines the size and substance of his pedigree with an easygoing, amateur-friendly temperament that makes him a pleasure to handle and be around.

Recently completing 90 days of professional training, he has developed a solid foundation and is ready to continue his education in a program suited to his future goals. Quiet, willing, and level-headed, he is easy to work with and stands exceptionally well for the farrier.

With his striking grey colour, impressive build, sensible mind, and natural versatility, this young gelding has the potential to excel in a wide range of disciplines. Whether developed as a sport horse, hunter, dressage prospect, all-around partner, or versatile amateur mount, he offers a beautiful combination of talent, temperament, and presence.

Rolling into Father’s Day weekend

Our mare is officially confirmed in foal to Dualin Hellcat, and we couldn’t be more excited about this cross.
This baby will be packed with some incredible cow horse bloodlines, including Metallic Cat, High Brow Cat, Dual Rey, Playin Stylish, Docs Stylish Oak, Doc O’Lena, and Freckles Pl***oy.

What really excites me about this pairing isn’t just the famous names on the papers it’s the strength of the mares behind them. Generations of proven producers from Spot a Quarter have contributed athleticism, trainability, cow sense, and the kind of minds that make horses enjoyable both in and out of the arena. I feel honoured to carry on with a tiny bit of Karen Wheelans legacy.

The combination of Dodge’s royal pedigree with the Playin Stylish and Docs Stylish Oak influence on the dam side is one I’ve been looking forward to for a long time, and I can’t wait to see what this foal brings to the table. Both of these creatures are extremely rideable and trainable, withe chrome to boot.
