🧬 Before tissue can heal, it needs a blood supply.
That’s one reason BPC-157 has attracted attention in the recovery and research community.
BPC-157 is being studied for its potential effects on tissue repair, including tendons, ligaments, muscles, and the gut. One area of interest is angiogenesis—the formation of new blood vessels—which may help deliver oxygen, nutrients, and repair cells to damaged tissue.
Researchers have also explored its possible relationship with VEGF, a signaling protein involved in blood-vessel growth.
But here’s the important distinction: most BPC-157 research is still preclinical, meaning it has primarily been studied in animals. Robust human clinical evidence is limited, and BPC-157 is not an approved medicine.
Promising mechanisms are worth studying—but they are not the same as proven treatments.
