There is just something about a YEG DREAM TARTS wedding cake… 😭❤️

It’s not a traditional wedding cake. It’s completely different — two beautiful layers of our signature tart, filled with our light cream and decorated to match YOUR wedding. 🤍

And the larger we make them… the more incredible they look. The size gives us so much space to decorate, play with florals, colours and details, while still keeping that beautiful shape that makes a Dream Tart instantly recognizable.

I absolutely LOVE seeing YEG Dream Tarts at weddings. ❤️

This is what I want our brand to be known for — celebrations that look a little different, feel special and are remembered. 💍

Well… here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how our tarts are actually made. ♥️♥️🥹

Every single Dream Tart starts with our almond pâte sablée — mixed, rolled, cut and baked right here in our kitchen. Then we make our creams, fill every tart, decorate them and turn them into the little desserts you see in our display every day. ♥️

And sometimes we have the cutest little helper making minis with us🥹♥️ Selena has basically grown up watching YEG Dream Tarts grow too… so having her beside us making them is pretty special.

They might look simple when they’re finished, but there are a whole lot of little steps, a whole lot of hands and a whole lot of love behind every single one. 🥰
We start at 6 am so that these are made by 11 AM ♥️

Oh, and all our fruit fillings are made by us from scratch !! ♥️♥️

We should have been sold out TWICE by now if we had treated today like a regular Saturday. 😭❤️

Because of the HUGE reach we’ve had on social media these past few days, we knew today might be different… so this morning we made 2–3 TIMES the amount of tarts we would normally make on a Saturday.

And thank goodness we did because YOU GUYS CAME. 😭😭😭❤️

But what makes me even happier is seeing so many NEW faces walking through our doors.

Usually, our days are filled with our loyal returning customers — the people who already know us, love our tarts and continue coming back again and again. ❤️

But these past few days??? SO MANY of you have walked into YEG Dream Tarts for the very first time because you saw us on social media and discovered that we even exist!!! 😭❤️

That means more to me than you know.
So WELCOME to every single new person who found us this week. 🥹❤️ And to our customers who have been here all along… thank you for continuing to show up for us.
Now we better get back to making tarts because apparently 2–3x a normal Saturday still wasn’t enough. ♥️🥹
