Community SOCCER creates a wonderful opportunity to meet your neighbours—we verify everyone’s address to team up athletes in their own neighbourhoods (depending on volunteer coaches, their next nearest neighbourhoods). Community leagues support community soccer so grab your membership and apply before Feb 29!

Summer Update: Scona Pool & New Rec Centre

Hi Friends! Join your community league in competing to see which League records the most mileage in June. Happy Cycling :)

June is Bike Month and we are joining the Edmonton Community League Challenge. Whichever League records the most mileage wins! Our team is called QA Wheelie Good Team! Want to join? You can send your mileage to [email protected] by Saturday EACH week or download Strava on the App store and join our team. Drive safe!

Little FOSR update: it has come up numerous times, but now is the part of the design phase where we get to name the building. The proposal is for the naming committee to consider the Kiviaq Rec Centre. Kiviaq (previously known as David C Ward) was an alderman and athlete and first Inuk lawyer, whose house still stands across the street from the proposed construction site.
