So - full disclosure. I have had a difficult time - it hit out of the blue on August 31st when my husband had his first seizure and was diagnosed with Glioblastoma- a horrible incurable brain cancer. I am not sure how I will proceed with this group or my coaching services as right now I am grieving heavily. Jeff passed Dec. 6th at our home after a valiant fight. Life has been a rollercoaster of difficult moments and heartbreak. 💔 I wish I could say Happy New Year and act all bright and positive but right now I have to focus on me and my healing journey. I know a New Year has started and I do hope it will be a positive one for all of us! Let's try and find gratitude for the good stuff in our lives because there is always some good stuff. Sometimes it is just more difficult to discover those gems but they are still there waiting for us to find them. ❤️

My divorce was so long ago I don't remember the details of the celebration that night. I do remember opening my mailbox and staring at the self-addressed envelope and feeling a bit anti-climatic. It was such a long and drawn-out process - then I get a rubber-stamped paper in my mail box and that is it? It was surreal and I smiled, stood on the sidewalk in the sun and just soaked in the moment. I am pretty sure we celebrated. Had a special dinner and drinks - you know and toasted my new status as no longer married. You wait so long for that moment - for everything to be behind you - then it is right there and it was just a piece of paper. How did you feel or how do you hope you feel? What is your plan? Who are you going to tell? Will you just smile and soak in the moment like me? It is a little surreal for sure! 😎

Do you ever want to scream with frustration as your divorce drama just keeps coming at you every single day? 😱
It is important to release these pent up screams but most of us don’t want to scare anybody...
When you cannot scream for real…
It’s still important to both vent 🤯 and record these day-to-day drama debacles 🎭 while you actually believe you will literally never forget them - on paper - because they will, thankfully, blur over time.
I often meet clients just a few months into the chaotic start of their marriage breakdown and they are frustrated with the level of drama in their lives as well as their lack of specific details they can actually bring to mind.
It is helpful to have facts at your fingertips - in case you ever need them.
Yes - I kept a record of late or worse forgotten kid pickups. How many times did this happen last week or last month anyway…?
Grab the Scream Sheets so you can capture it all. Get it out of your system AND create credible, clean records you will probably need to refer to!
Absolutely free - 9 different Scream Sheets to capture both your drama in real-time as well as your wins, woes, rants, wants and whatnots.
Using Scream Sheets can help you:
-start a comforting new routine.
-document the dates and the details just in case you ever need them .
-create a written record of what the plan was and what actually has happened day-to-day, with week-to-week and month-to-month summaries of the big events .
-show clear patterns quickly so you can learn ways to manage recurring issues better
-look back to celebrate your wins and progress over time! This is BIG! Things usually do get better with time and acceptance! Eventually! It is good to see your own progress.
-heal. ❤️🩹
Weekly & monthly look over your past daily and weekly sheets and note the most important dates and events to the weekly or monthly summary sheet, look for patterns, improvements and reasons to celebrate and then keep on screaming through your pages - I hope you will find your screaming shifts from screaming in frustration😱 to screaming with laughter 🤣!
I know mine did!
Yes! You can do this - just take one day at a time! 😎❤️
