We are back to our usual meeting place in the Freewheel parking lot behind the shop.

Front and rear lights are also now mandatory on the remainder of our MTB rides for the season. We will find ourselves riding while it is dark and your front light needs to be strong enough to light up the way. We recommend 1000 lumens minimum. We can help you with lights and lighting mounts in the shop.

We are back to riding local this week and Wednesday should be a lovely evening.

Please remember that at this time of year, a front and rear light are mandatory. The front light should be bright enough for you to see the road or trail ahead when it gets dark. We can help you with that in the shop.

After cancelling our ride last week, we are aiming to ride the Red Hill Valley this week. Please note the new meeting place.

Riding new trails is always fun, and even better together. We hope to see all of you on bikes this Wednesday.

This week, our MTB Social Ride will be meeting behind the Shoppers Drug Mart in University plaza due to the Cactus Festival parade in town. Please do not go to the shop as you will not be able to park anywhere around there.

Other than the meeting place changing, the ride remains the same as we split into different groups based on pace and distance. Each group will have a ride leader and sweep as this is a no drop ride.

We are canceling tomorrow's Bonus Ride at The Pines. 😢
Our weather app is showing high likelihood of ⛈️ and 💦 tomorrow morning. Granted these sandy trails hold up well to wet weather, but we're not up for a game of Lightning Rods In The Forest. We're calling off our ride and we'll try again another day! 🙌

We have been trying to get to Kelso all summer, so we are very hopeful Mother Nature will cooperate on Tuesday, August 18. Meet us at the Summit. Please sign up on Eventbrite to reserve your spot!

As a special “bonus” ride, the Dirt Girls will be riding this coming Sunday August 16, 2026 at The Pines in Woodstock, Ontario. We will meet in the parking lot ready to ride at 10:00 a.m. As always, please register on Eventbrite to save your spot and let us know you’re joining us.

This was a hard one to call but we are playing it safe and cancelling tonight’s ride due to the forecast. Sorry about the timing of this as we were going back and forth on this one.
