Ready to turn your swim skills into something more?

Join our Swim Instructor Course and learn how to teach, encourage, and evaluate swimmers in the Swim for Life® and Canadian Swim Patrol programs.

Course Dates and Times:
🔸Sundays, September 13 to October 4
🔸12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

To register, you must:
🔸Hold a Bronze Cross certification or higher
🔸Be at least 15 years old by the final day of the course

You will learn how to teach skills, correct techniques, give helpful feedback, and evaluate swimmers as they work through each program.

This year we will be hosting Alberta Day 2026 at the Downtown Plaza. The celebration will begin at 2:00 p.m. and run until 4:00 p.m.

The afternoon will include:

- Indigenous Ceremony
- Live music performed by Cream & Sugar Band
- Gold panning and glitter tattoos

So come and join us for free, family-friendly fun for everyone at the Downtown Plaza. Celebrate Alberta's history, culture, and diverse communities. Come together to connect with friends, neighbours, and the community. Everyone is welcome to come!
