We’re kicking off the season with U16, U17 & U18 Girls tryouts on Sunday, September 6th at HTA. Times are listed for age categories on the poster - get ready to bring the energy (and your water bottles and knee pads)!

Our first‑ever Royals camp is officially in the books - and what a great camp it was!
Hadley Zeimmer and Kayley Gerlinsky from the Augustana Vikings brought the intensity, the knowledge, and the fun, and our athletes absolutely thrived.

The Royals showed up strong last night!
Huge appreciation and thanks to the athletes and families who volunteered to take care of takedown and cleanup after the Big Town Small Life Street Party! So many Royals families stayed late, worked hard, and got the job done.

A big shoutout as well to everyone involved in putting on such an amazing community night!

Before Attending Tryouts

1. Purchase a Volleyball Alberta Membership on SportLomo
(approx $18)
- Navigate to the Volleyball Alberta Registration page
- Select the Youth Development Player – Tryout
- Create or log in to your Sportlomo account and purchase the membership
- Complete all required Volleyball Alberta waivers and consent forms

Registration with Volleyball Alberta is mandatory and separate from Drayton Valley Royals Volleyball Club Tryout Registration.

Proof of SportLomo registration is required to participate in tryouts. Please screenshot it to show it at check-in when you attend tryouts.

Athletes without proof of Sportlomo registration will not be permitted to participate.

A huge thank you to HTA for generously donating gym time throughout our 2026 volleyball season!

Your support gave our athletes a consistent place to train, grow, and compete, and it made a real difference in their development this year.

As a small token of our appreciation, we gifted HTA new volleyball net antennas, game balls, and score‑flip charts to help support future athletes who will use the space.
