That's a wrap! Obviously we couldn't say goodbye without one last Shifty video edit.
Y'all made our last month one heckuva month to remember.
Thanks to everyone who took a little extra time to stop in and say one last goodbye. Thanks for all the kind notes, and story sharing . Thanks for all the heartfelt emails and wonderful messages.
It really is an incredible community and we are very proud to have been a part of that.
What's next for the shifty crew?
Well, just turned 70 and has his whole life ahead of him. So he'll likely start his 6th career next Monday.
Mangey Coyote is going to retire for real and continue to be just incredibly badass at everything.
Me. I'm taking some time to ride bikes with my 2yr old and I'll figure it out later.
Pour one out for Shift Happens.

UPDATE: found a home for them

Got a couple FREE big workbenches.
Not pretty, but sturdy and hella heavy.
Both have some slat wall on them that can be removed.
Dimensions for bench one

Dimensions for bench 2 with the top shelf/wall

35.5 to bench top
60-3/4" high with the back wall/too shelf
33" deep
Both weigh about as much as a small planet.
You'll need friends and a big truck or trailer.

It's the final countdown.
Our last Shifty Hurrah
To our bike friends, customers and the community of Devon, we are super bummed to announce that we're closing down the shop for good.
June 1st will be our 14th birthday and our very last Month in operation.
Our lease is up and the operating costs have gotten too high for our small but mighty team to be sustainable.
From the bottom of our shifty hearts, we want to thank all of you for supporting and growing with us over the years.
It was an honor to be your friendly neighborhood bike shop and we are grateful to be a part of your riding journey ❤️.
We hope to see you before we shut the doors for good.

IMPORTANT DATES:
June 12-15 weekend we will be closed to Ride Bikes (we are hella stressed and need fun too)
June 19th - The Devon Bicycle Association is hosting an Open House and a BONUS Bike Packing Presentation! 4:30-7pm
SUNDAY JUNE 21st will be our LAST day open to the public.
