Kids of Mud (KOM) is a learn-to-ride and learn-to-race mountain bike program for kids 16 and younger. WHAT IS KIDS OF MUD?
Training takes place twice a week at the Northgate Trail System in Dauphin, Manitoba. Kids of Mud (KOM) is the official youth cycling program of the Manitoba Cycling Association (MCA) administered by a group of participating clubs. KOM is a learn-to-ride and learn-to-race program for kids 16 and younger covering the Fundamentals, Learn to Train and Train to Train stages of the Long Term Athlete De

Well, we seem to have jumped backwards this week. Kids of Mud is CANCELLED for this week, due to the super wet conditions.

Kids of Mud 2024 starts tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM sharp. We meet in the parking lot of Vermillion Park. Lessons are a go, rain or shine so dress appropriately.
Everyone who registered should already have received an email with details. See you there!

Northgate Kids of Mud registration is still open until we run out of spots.
Important points: program will run on Saturday mornings at Vermillion Park.

Good news! Kids of Mud is happening for spring 2024.
We are having some transition in the team but we are so glad that we have coaches and volunteers ready to offer this program for another year. With a focus on our emerging riders, we have opted to move the program into town. Vermillion Park is a great spot for our young riders to gain confidence in this exciting sport.
