It was great to get all 7 teams out playing ball.

Dalmeny Minor Ball hit the diamonds this last week with the official start to the 2026 season! All 7 teams had great opening days with the weather “mostly” cooperating.

⚾️Jr & Sr Rally Cap teams got to take a swing for the first time this season with the pitching machines! There was a lot of learning, a couple home runs and the occasional sand castle built on the infield.

🥎We have an ALL girl u11 softball team this season! They are geared up for their first game this season and practices have been going well!
Our u13 softball team is eagerly awaiting their first game this week!! With a promising season ahead of them!

♥️Our U11 Baseball team started their trial season by welcoming Watrous for a double header. In celebration of Mother’s Day and their first game, they started with a ceremonial first pitch by mothers of both teams throwing out the first pitch to their child. While the new team was unsuccessful in bringing in a win, the players learned a lot and the camaraderie was strong among them! We are excited to see where they take this team in their opening season!

U13 Softball Umpire Needed in Dalmeny May 12th
🥎 Dalmeny Minor Ball is urgently seeking out an individual that can umpire a U13 Softball game next Tuesday May 12th! If you have or know someone with the following credentials PLEASE contact us!

*15 yrs old and up
*Has their own equipment (but borrowing could be a possibility)
*Experience playing/umping softball
*Baseball experience could work as well, would need to be willing to read and understand our league rules)

We follow Softball Sask’s pay/mileage guidelines 😀 and it is a great opportunity to make some quick cash!
