Crossfield Minor Hockey Association extends its heartfelt condolences to the Beaton-Link / Anderson-Hill family during an incredibly difficult time of loss.

This is a family that has generously supported our association over the years, and now it is our turn to stand beside them. We ask our hockey community to keep them in your thoughts and to surround them with kindness, compassion, and support in the days and weeks ahead.

To the young member of our hockey family who is facing this unimaginable loss of his father: please know that you have an entire hockey community behind you. We are here for you, we will support you, and we hope you always remember that you have all of us to lean on whenever you need us.

Every season, we welcome children who have never stepped on the ice before.
Some arrive unable to stand on their skates. Others are nervous to let go of the boards.
Then something amazing happens...
Within just a few weeks, they're getting up on their own. By the New Year, they're skating across the ice with huge smiles, building confidence, making friends, and falling in love with hockey.
Our volunteer coaches are the heart of this program. Their patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm help every child succeed at their own pace.
Watching these little players grow is one of the most rewarding parts of our hockey season.

It is with profound sadness that the Crossfield Minor Hockey Association extends our deepest condolences to a family of our own during an incredibly difficult time. Our hockey community mourns the loss of a beloved hockey mom who fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.

To the Lappage family: our hearts are with you. Please know that you are not alone. The entire Icehawks community stands beside you, surrounding you with love, strength, and unwavering support through the days, weeks, and months ahead.

We ask all Icehawks families to keep the Lappage family close in your thoughts and hold them in your hearts as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
