💙 National Drowning Prevention Week is July 19–25.

Every year, approximately 500 Canadians lose their lives to drowning. Drowning is the third leading cause of unintentional death among Canadians under 60, the leading cause of accidental death for children ages 1–4, and the second leading cause of preventable death for children under 10.

This week is an opportunity to learn lifesaving skills and help keep yourself, your family, and your community safe around water.

Join us for a free afternoon of water safety education. Our Swim to Survive® instructors will be available to share, water safety tips and the latest research, how to choose and properly fit a life jacket, in-water Swim to Survive® skill development sessions.
