1. Proper technique
Young athletes are still developing movement patterns. Good coaching teaches them how to lift, move, land, accelerate and change direction safely and effectively.

2. Individualized development
Athletes don’t all need the same thing. Training should meet them where they are and progress as they develop.

3. Improved athletic development
Strength, speed, power, coordination, mobility and endurance all contribute to becoming a more capable athlete regardless of the sport.

4. Building confidence
Confidence comes from being challenged in a controlled environment. A coach knows when to push an athlete outside their comfort zone, when to pull back, and how to create opportunities for them to succeed. Over time, athletes learn that they are capable of more than they thought and that confidence starts to show up everywhere.

Tomorrow is a day of mixed emotions are Iron Soul - Friday at 9:15am is Sarah's last class before she goes on mat leave and becomes a mama!

Sarah is an integral part of the Iron Soul team, and a beloved coach, and while the team and the clients of Iron Soul are excited for her and her next adventure into parenthood, we're selfishly sad to see her go and we'll be counting the days to her return!

If you're able to pop in or join the workout tomorrow please do!

Congrats to Sarah and Jordan! xoxox

That’s our girl!

Today, I am announcing that I will be seeking election as Mayor of Creston in the municipal election on October 17, 2026.

Over the past four years, it has been an honour to serve as a Town Councillor and represent the residents of Creston. I have had the opportunity to work alongside dedicated Council members, staff, volunteers, community organizations, and regional partners who care deeply about our community.

I love this work. Serving the Creston Valley has strengthened my commitment to public service, and my goal has always been to represent our community well and lead with integrity.

As we look to the future, I remain committed to listening, working hard, supporting good governance, and bringing people together to address the opportunities and challenges ahead.

I am grateful for the trust that has been placed in me over the past four years, and I hope to earn your support as we take the next step together and build on the momentum of our community over the next four years.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve.

Event 3 standards are here. 💪

The Fladhammer has strategy, transitions, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

Watch through for box standards, devil’s press lockout, dumbbell hand-switch rules, and thruster standards.

Questions? DM us before game day.

See you on the floor!

Event 2 standards are live.

Engine Room is a 12-minute AMRAP where rhythm, pacing, and clean reps matter.

Please review the standards for wall balls, pull-ups, and skipping before game day — especially wall ball depth and pull-up lockout/chin-over-bar requirements.

Questions? Send us a message before the clock starts.

See you on the floor.
