Ringette Official is a dynamic, physical, and mental challenge. Are you up for it?

Officiating in ringette isn’t just about blowing a whistle – it’s a sport within a sport that requires quick thinking, assertiveness, and sharp judgment. It’s a unique opportunity to stay active, develop leadership skills, and be a key part of the action, all while earning some extra income!

We’re looking for new officials (ages 14+) to join our team. Whether you're a teen seeking a first job, an adult who loves staying active, or someone passionate about the game – we’ll train and support you every step of the way!

It was amazing to see so many new faces hit the ice, learn the game, and have fun trying something new. From first time skaters to future ringette stars, we loved sharing our sport with you!

If you joined us and can't wait to get back on the ice, registration is now open! There's still time to take advantage of our Early Bird pricing before July 31.

U14, U16 and U19 Zone try-out registration is now open and will remain open until August 17. The cost is $100 for the try-outs which must be paid by etransfer prior to the first ice time. Players must also be registered with their home association prior to registering.

Get back on the ice and prepare early for the season with a mini-session of power skating with acclaimed coach Michele Pacholka. Coach Michele brings years of experience with developing ringette players on behalf of KRA. Her skill and expertise in teaching Power Skating are valued by pro-hockey and high level ringette players. Join her on the ice to kick-start your return to the ice!

All sessions will be held at Rutland Arena East on Sunday, July 19th as follows:
9:00 AM - 10:15 AM
Players born 2012, 2013, 2014

10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
Players born 2009, 2010, 2011

12:15 PM - 1:15 PM
Players born 2015, 2016, 2017

Please arrive in full ringette gear including ringette stick.

Power Skating sessions are open to KRA registered players and require pre-registration and $10.00 payment per session.

Come try Ringette!!!

This session will be a fun, relaxed experience of learning about ringette on the ice!
A helmet is required: bike, hockey or snow/ski helmets are ok and skates
(waterproof gloves, snow pants, elbow and knee pads for little ones to make this more enjoyable experience).
Sticks will be available to borrow if you don’t have your own.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to ice time for equipment to be properly fitted. Parents are welcome on the ice with helmets with younger kids.
