🎉🎉 🎉 Welcome to our new coach Mackenzie! She grew up in the flatlands of Grande Prairie, Alberta, where mountains were few but her love for snowboarding ran deep. With limited terrain to ride, she spent most of her time in the park before heading west to Fernie, BC, where she discovered a passion for big mountain riding. Since then, she’s competed in events like the Monster Boarderstyle and even a FWT qualifier competition in Lake Louise.
These days, Mackenzie channels her love for the sport into coaching the next generation of riders. She’s all about building confidence, creativity, and a strong mind-body connection — helping athletes grow not just as snowboarders, but as humans. When she’s not on the hill, you’ll probably find her surfing or playing volleyball.
