STRENGTH IS BUILT IN THE KITCHEN TOO.

We often talk about protein, hydration, carbohydrates and recovery; but sometimes the smallest ingredients can add meaningful nutritional value to the bigger picture.

Enter fresh dill.

Dill is extremely low in calories while providing small amounts of vitamin C, vitamin A, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium. It also contains plant compounds with antioxidant properties.

Why add it to your nutrition routine?
✔️ Adds flavour without significant calories
✔️ Provides antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress
✔️ Contributes small amounts of essential vitamins and minerals
✔️ Makes nutrient-dense meals more enjoyable
✔️ Helps keep healthy eating interesting; which is critical for long-term consistency

A typical tablespoon of fresh dill contains only a few calories, so you can use it generously without meaningfully changing your calorie intake.

Try it with chicken, fish, vegetables, potatoes, salads, eggs, or Greek yogurt for an easy flavour boost.

Is dill going to build muscle by itself? Absolutely not.

But strength and physique goals are built from hundreds of small decisions. Choosing nutritious foods you actually enjoy makes it easier to stay consistent with the fundamentals.

Train hard. Eat well. Recover. Repeat.

Some people talk about what they're going to do. You? You show up. You load the bar. You grind through the reps that no one sees. You build strength in the silence, when no one is watching, when motivation is dead and comfort is calling.

That's the difference between wanting it and earning it.

Stop talking. Start earning. The work speaks for itself.

BACK ATTACK. WORK ETHIC. 🔥

The Sorinex Back Attack doesn’t care how motivated you are.

It rewards the person willing to sit down, brace up, and put in the work.

A strong posterior chain is built through consistent effort; training the lower back, glutes, and hamstrings to produce and resist force. But like everything else in the gym, the machine is only a tool.

The equipment doesn’t build the body. The work does.

One set. One rep. One day at a time.

Show up when you’re motivated.
Show up when you’re tired.
Show up when nobody is watching.

Because strength isn’t given.

It’s earned.

BUILD THE BACKSIDE. BUILD THE FOUNDATION. 💪

A strong body isn’t just about what you can see in the mirror.

Your posterior chain: glutes, hamstrings, back, and hips; is the powerhouse behind strength, stability, and athletic movement.

That’s why we incorporate unilateral training into our personal training sessions. Single-leg and single-arm movements challenge balance, expose strength differences between sides, and force the body to stabilize while producing force.

It’s not about simply moving weight.

It’s about moving well, building strength where you need it, and developing a body that performs as a complete unit.

At Quest, personal training is about purposeful programming; not just counting reps.

Train the weaknesses. Build the foundation. Become stronger.

The strongest person in the room isn’t always the one lifting the most weight. It’s the one who moves the best.

Proper form isn’t about being perfect. It’s about respect: respect for the movement, respect for your body, and respect for the process. It’s the willingness to strip the weight down, slow the tempo down, and build from the ground up. It’s choosing to learn before you lift heavy, and mastering before you max out.

That requires work ethic.

It’s the commitment to film yourself, critique yourself, and improve yourself. It’s swallowing your ego when someone offers a correction. It’s understanding that mastery takes patience, not just aggression.

Form over ego. Skill over speed. Results follow those who build the foundation first.

TAKE THE STEP.

Nothing is guaranteed.

You can plan. You can prepare. You can work hard; but there will always be uncertainty standing between where you are and where you want to be.

At some point, you have to take the step anyway.

Growth requires you to leave the comfort of what you know and trust yourself enough to move forward without knowing exactly how everything will turn out.

You don’t need a guarantee.

You need courage, commitment, and the willingness to keep moving when the path isn’t clear.

The biggest opportunities often begin with one decision:

Take the step.

EVERY DAY OFFERS AN OPPORTUNITY.

A new day means another chance to get better.

Another chance to train harder.
Another chance to learn something new.
Another chance to push past yesterday’s limits.

You don’t need perfect circumstances. You don’t need to feel motivated. You simply need to recognize the opportunity that’s right in front of you; and take it.

Don’t waste today waiting for tomorrow.

Show up. Put in the work. Make today count.
